On Resurrection Sunday, or Easter, we reach the culmination of Holy Week.
"Don't be afraid! I know you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified. He isn't here! He is risen from the dead, just as he said would happen." (Matthew 28:5-6, NLT)
- Sunday's events are recorded in Matthew 28:1-13, Mark 16:1-14, Luke 24:1-49, and John 20:1-23.
As we approach this Easter Sunday
what does it mean for us journey to an empty tomb and be Alive Again?
“As a prisoner for the Lord, then, I urge you to live a life worthy of the calling you have received. 2 Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love. 3 Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace. 4 There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called to one hope when you were called;5 one Lord, one faith, one baptism; 6 one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all.”
- v.1, live or walk in a manner worthy of the calling you have received.
- v. 3 Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit.
- v. 4 We are one body and one spirit…
John 13:35, “By this the world will know you are my disciples, if you love one another.”
This is what it means to walk worthy…
live in peace and be one in the body of Christ…
To Be Alive Again!
