  Hope When I Realize His Promises are Unshakeable - Ezekiel 34:11-16, 20-24


A Disciple of Jesus all take on the responsibility of a KINGDOM BUILDING PRIEST.

1 Peter 2:5 says, “You also, like living stones, are being built into a spiritual house to be a holy priesthood, offering spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.”
Two Words Describe the Shepherds

• Neglect:

Their call to Discipleship
Their call to Evangelism.

• Disregard

Their call to Evangelism.
Their call to Discipleship.
What was the Result?

• “Held accountable... Removed them from tending....”(v.10)

 

• “Judge between strong (selfish) and weak (unselfish) sheep” (v. 20)

Revelation 2:5 (Church at Ephesus) — “Remember the height from which you have fallen! Repent and do the things you did at first. If you do not repent, I will come to you and remove your lampstand from its place.”
He has modeled what a Good Shepherd is like and Paul prays for us in Ephesians 1:15-23
 
God wants you to perform your COMMISSIONED RESPONSIBILITY
to Go into the World and Make Disciples in Matthew 28.
AND
He will PROVIDE the shoes that are necessary to perform the task.
