​Journey of Hope- “When Freedom Scares Me” Acts 2:14-21
 
 
Ways that God does use dreams and visions:
 

• God Uses Dreams/Visions as Ways to Talk to Us. Ecclesiastes 5:3

 
 
 

• God Uses Dreams/Visions to Direct Us. Matthew 1:18-25

 
 
 

• God uses Dreams/Visions to Warn Us – Genesis 20:1-7

 
 
 

• Sometimes God gives us Dreams to Encourage Us and Promote Us – I Kings 3

 
 
 
 
“I will do what you have asked. I will give you a wise and discerning heart, so that there will never have been anyone like you, nor will there ever be. I Kings 3:12
 
 
How do we handle such things as dreams and visions?
 

• Be open to any means that our LORD wants to use to speak to us

 

• Filter everything through His Holy Spirit.

 

• Write down as much of it as we can remember.

 

• Allow the Holy Spirit to reveal what He wants to share with us.

 
 
 
 
Don’t let the freedom the Holy Spirt gives us
 scare us from living for Jesus!
