Disciples Response: “Jesus Talk” – Romans 10:1-17

In the Old Testament you hear that: Someone is coming!
In the Gospels you can read: Someone has come!
In the remainder of the New Testament we hear: He is coming again!

Romans 10:14 "How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them?"
You and I are called to talk Jesus where we are sent!
This is so significant to God that…
  1.  God declares that the very feet of those who tell others about Jesus are beautiful.
And Jesus tells us “… there is rejoicing in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner who repents." Luke 15:10

God has stepped back and handed us the brush (Feed my sheep and my lambs)!
  • God believes in us!

He believes that we can tell others about Jesus. The “good news”

  • You don’t have to do this alone!
Jesus said that, when the Spirit came, His job was to “…convict the world of guilt in regard to sin and righteousness and judgment:” John 16:8

2.   God reminds me that my feet determine my direction.

  • If our feet are set on the path of sharing with others about Jesus…
then we’ll work for that objective no matter what barrier or objection or obstacle
we may face.

3.  God models for me that “good things” can happen If my feet follow Jesus!

  • He didn’t join in with their sinful behavior,
but He showed His love for them in being with them.

    David Craig, Pastor

I began my journey as the Lead Pastor in June 2011.  Prior to coming to Shreveport I served in Texas, Pennsylvania, Kansas, Missouri and Oklahoma.  I studied religion and music at Southern Nazarene University and received my M.A. degree from Nazarene Theological Seminary.

I was raised in a Christian home where I was exposed to the Lord at an early age.  As a junior in high school I felt a call to serve Jesus for a lifetime in the ministry.

I and my wife, Dawn, have two sons. Caleb is a graduate of Southern Nazarene University and Adam attends ULM in Monroe, La

In my spare time I enjoy sports of all kinds, but especially the Texas Longhorns.
